Fraud No More: Motion to Withdraw as Counsel and for Continuance

The Law Offices of David J. Stern will permanently close its doors at the end of this month and will no longer be in the business of taking people's homes fraudulently. If your lender was represented by Stern's office you may have received or will soon receive a notice in the mail from that office.

So, what happened? How did almost every giant financial institution hire Mr. Stern? What was his office doing?

Well, it's actually pretty simple. Stern's office had a very high foreclosure success rate over the past few years. Their reputation for quickly and effectively churning case after case through the court system grew exponentially fast. This caught the lenders' attention.

Unfortunately, lenders assumed that it was the skills this office held that set them apart from other law offices, that could not foreclose on properties as quickly and effectively as these guys did. If it's sounds too good to be true, it probably is... That's when the news of falsified documents started spreading like wildfire.

But the powers that be have caught up with this scheme and are now going after the jugular.

What does this mean for you?

It certainly means that it may be time for you to consult an attorney. Another attorney will most certainly take over your case soon, but this can buy you time in court. You can use this time wisely to hire an attorney to look into your case or have your mortgage and closing  documents audited by professionals. As the foreclosure giants fall, one by one, hopefully the people will take advantage of this opportunity and start fighting back for justice! Call our office today for your free initial consultation!
